In this article, we will be reviewing 7 prepared meals from the Protein+ Meal Plan which include Sesame Cage-Free Chicken with Bok Choy, Salsa Verde Salmon, Garlic Confit Garbanzo Beans and Shrimp, Roasted Chicken Thighs with Sumac and Carrots, Egg White and Turkey Bacon and Asparagus (Also check out Delicious Vegan Asparagus Recipes You Will Love), Chicken Scramble and Zucchini, and Scrambled Eggs and Potatoes.

This Protein+ Meal Plan provides everything you need for a high-quality meal containing high-graded animal protein, whole grains, and organic vegetables. All the meals are gluten-free and dairy-free, too.

Sesame Cage-Free Chicken With Bok Choy

This meal received great reviews.

In this package, you’ll find a juicy protein-rich chicken paired with garlic and sesame bok choy, onions, broccoli, and peppers.

All of this is layered nicely on a bed of rice, which is a carb addition to the meal.

If you’re looking for a filling, quick, and healthy lunch, then you’ll love this meal!

Salsa Verde Sustainable Salmon Casserole With Rice And Beans

For many people, this meal is one of the best.

Contrary to popular belief, the salmon doesn’t try out in the microwave and the salsa verde seasonings bring the whole dish together.

Paired with bell peppers, rice, onions, and beans – it makes for a ridiculously delicious meal.

Garlic Confit With Garbanzo Beans And Sustainable Shrimp

If taste is the main factor for you, then you should definitely try this flavorful meal.

The tomatoes and garlic sauce create a burst of flavor in your mouth with each spoonful.

When placed in the microwave, the shrimp didn’t turn a rubbery texture, which can sometimes happen when overcooked.

On the other hand, the chickpeas were harder than expected but still provided great flavor.

This is overall better than having mushy chickpeas.

Roasted Chicken Thigh With Sumac Carrots And Chickpeas

When the meal was placed in the microwave, the chicken remained moist with a flavorful aroma from all the warm spices.

However, the carrots and chickpeas were on the harder side, although they weren’t unpleasant to eat – again, better than being mushy.

Some people found that the dish needed additional salt and pepper to bring out all the intense flavors.

Scrambled Eggs And Potatoes

The combination of eggs and potatoes is a simple, yet classic breakfast – and this meal didn’t disappoint, either.

You may be surprised to find out that the potatoes, which at first glance look like normal potatoes, were actually sweet potatoes.

Some people were left disappointed by this, since sweet potatoes have a required taste, although, it is understandable considering the health benefits of sweet potatoes.

Chicken Scramble With Zucchini

This meal was reviewed as nothing special, the overall opinion was that it was OK.

The meal is packed with protein; however, it lacked flavor which made it one of their least favorite dishes.

Egg Whites With Turkey Bacon And Asparagus

Many people reviewed this meal as one of their least favorite in the package.

While the meal is advertised as low-calorie, it lacked the necessary flavors and the turkey bacon had a rubbery texture to it.

Final Thoughts

It’s safe to say that Fresh n’ Fresh delivers its proposed goal: to deliver healthy, prepared meals that are accessible to everyone free from artificial and processed ingredients.

All of the meals detailed in this review, from the Protein+ meal plan, were delicious.

However, the ultimate favorites were the Sesame Chicken with Bok Choy and the Salsa Verde Salmon.

The least favorite among the meals was the breakfasts. Since these lacked the necessary flavor and were simply too plain.

All the meals are prepared fresh and can remain fresh in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

Best Times to have Fresh Meal:

To reheat the meals, simply place them in the microwave for 3 minutes.

The only drawback to the whole Fresh n’ Lean experience was the ordering process.

When you subscribe to a specific meal plan, you aren’t allowed to select different meals from a different plan; although, you can select your meals for the week.

It compared to similar fresh meal delivery services, Fresh n’ Lean was among one of the best and provided exceptional lunch and dinners that accommodated a range of different dietary requirements.

Therefore, if you’re looking for tasty, new, and healthy prepared meals for either lunch or dinner, then Fresh n’ Lean would be a good place to start.

Hopefully, this guide has provided you with all the information you need to make an informed decision on whether or not you’re going to purchase from Fresh n’ Lean.
